Experience

Sarah has been working in restaurants for 10 years as a sous chef, cook, baker, bartender, and server. Whether she's wrapping gyros, shaking cocktails, smoking brisket, working a wok, or baking Danish pastries, she's taking notes and writing stories about the diverse techniques, ingredients, recipes, and cultures that make food so much more than just a means of survival. She joined Static Media in 2025 and has contributed to multiple food verticals, where she shares reviews on where to eat, recommendations from her travels, and cooking expertise straight from the kitchen.

Education

Sarah holds an associate degree in science from Whatcom Community College.
