Her experience includes writing for a number of online and print publications, including Business Insider and Cheapism.com, where she extensively wrote about food and eating, with topics including saving money on groceries, budget-friendly food items, food and wine pairings, and unique restaurants across America. Jennifer ran her town's local magazine, where she frequently interviewed community members about their favorite restaurants. She was an editor for the century-old publication Tea & Coffee Trade Journal, which permanently converted her into a daily coffee drinker. Jennifer also has an extensive background covering budget-friendly living and shopping. She is a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors.

Jennifer holds a bachelor's degree in mass communications from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a master's degree in journalism from New York University.
