Experience
Though she's been writing her whole life, Lauren has spent the last three-and-a-half years honing her journalistic career in London, focusing on all things "Life and Culture." Traveling throughout Europe and the United States, she is dedicated to uncovering international subcultures and culinary communities. For Lauren, a perfect vacation typically will situate around discovering local cuisines. With a particular affinity for natural wines, good cheeses, and expertly crafted espresso, she thinks a pastry's lamination or restaurant's ambiance could make or break a trip. Lauren also interviewed on BBC Radio 1 and sat on panel in Vienna, Austria about her poetic practice. She published her first poetry collection -- Porcelain Cherries -- in April 2024, which combines themes of healing and heartbreak, with many nods to her interest in the culinary arts throughout. Lauren is the Life & Culture Editor at The Cold Magazine, as well as the Fashion Editor at Groupie, where she oversees submissions, manages contributors, and edits content for either publication. You can also read her work in The Independent, Noctis, and New Wave Magazine.
