Expertise
Snacks, Beer, Grocery Stores
- Audrey traveled the world as an editor for Fodor's Travel, writing stories about faraway places, their cuisines, and local grocery stores.
- She was a barista for 10 years, so an entire chunk of her brain is strictly coffee knowledge.
- One of the great loves of her life is ordering takeout from local (preferably vegan) LA restaurants (which DOES have a wonderful food scene, by the way!).
Experience
Audrey Farnsworth is a freelance writer, comedian, and award-winning screenwriter based in Los Angeles. As a long-time travel editor, she visited and wrote about the food she ate while getting lost in Venice or chasing giant marionettes down the streets of Montreal (seriously). She is very proud to have been invited as press to stay at the Taco Bell Hotel in Palm Springs, where she dined on and wrote about fine dishes, like nacho fries. In 2018, she was invited to attend and cover a taco-themed wedding at the Taco Bell Cantina in Las Vegas, where she knew no one, including the bride and groom. Now that she thinks about it, she has done a lot of Taco Bell journalism but don't hold that against her. Growing up with a loud nutritionist for a mother, she is also, ironically, an expert on healthy eating. Audrey was a prominent comedic voice on Twitter for 10+ years, with bylines in McSweeney's, Reductress, and more.
Education
Audrey has a bachelor's in theatre from Arizona State University.
