Experience

Megan is an award-winning writer who has contributed to numerous organizations throughout the years with a focus on food-related content. She was president and editor-in-chief of Montclair State's chapter of Her Campus, as well as the entertainment editor of her campus newspaper. Both of which welcomed the publication of fun recipes and other student-targeted content. One of her articles reviewing a Netflix short film was even recognized in 2021 when she won first place in the NJPF College Newspaper Contest's entertainment/critical writing category. She also was an extern with NJArts, the Garden State entertainment outlet, where she contributed reviews of live performances. These leadership roles were held all while Megan balanced several other positions, such as her first job writing for the blog of a pet retail store called The Hungry Puppy. She then moved on to be a freelance news writer for Paterson Press, where her work was published on NorthJersey.com.

Education

Megan has a Bachelor of Arts from Montclair State University where she majored in journalism and minored in social work.
