Patricia taught college composition and literature before transitioning to writing and editing. Her cultural criticism and essays have been featured in CNN, NBC, Los Angeles Review of Books, SELF, The Daily Dot, Business Insider, and elsewhere. She is the author of "Breaking Down Plath," a book about Sylvia Plath geared toward middle and high school students, and "ANIMAL," a collection of poetry. She lives in New York City. She never leaves the house without sunglasses.

Patricia has a bachelor's degree in English from Skidmore College and a PhD in English from Fordham University.
