Sarah has worked as a professional freelance writer for 13 years. She loves to write about the best ways to prepare specific foods, healthy eating, farmers markets, grocery store steals, and easy weeknight recipes. Her guilty pleasures include writing about far-out ingredients (hello, test-tube meat) and futuristic foods. She has collaborated with brands such as Forbes, Coming Home Magazine, Viva Belize, and a range of other companies and publications.


Sarah earned master's degrees in journalism from Northwestern University and education from Portland State University. Her bachelor's degree in liberal arts is from Clark Honors College at the University of Oregon.
