Experience

Sammi is a writer and bartender from New York City. She loves sharing her enthusiasm for all things cocktails and is always up for a lively debate about the appropriate garnish for a Last Word. She is the creator of the blog, A Girl's Guide to Drinking Alone, and has reviewed over a hundred bars and restaurants for how awesome or awful they are for solo women. A lifelong vegetarian, Sammi loves trying new restaurants and is an avid home cook. She has nearly ten years of experience working in New York City bars, and she is a skilled cocktail creator and consultant. Her second cocktail book is set to be published in March 2025.

Education

Sammi has a B.A. in drama from Vassar College.
