Experience
Ann Marie Brown began her travel writing career with Sunset magazine in the 1990s. Since then, her byline has appeared in Travel + Leisure, Backpacker, Hemispheres, AFAR, Time Out, Eucalyptus, The San Francisco Chronicle, and Visit California. Whether she's traveling for work or fun, she organizes every trip around what she wants to eat, whether it's tamales in Mexico, egg coffee in Vietnam, poke in Hawaii, or sourdough in San Francisco. Even when backpacking in the Sierra Nevada, she always packs her meals first and her camping gear second.
Education
Ann Marie holds a master's degree in journalism from Stanford University.
