Experience

Ashlea Miller is a seasoned storyteller, with her love of narrative beginning at the tender age of three with the self-published gem "The Frightened Dragon." After college, she embarked on a 15-year journey as a features writer, magazine editor, and freelance journalist for various publications, including The Boston Globe, Phoenix New Times, and CultureMap. She was the youngest female editor-in-chief of PHOENIX magazine when she took the reins in 2007. Ashlea then transitioned to a life in corporate communications at various mission-driven companies, including Whole Foods Market, Indeed, and Bumble. Beyond her corporate endeavors, she tends to her obsession with dark chocolate and is writing the anticipated sequel to her childhood classic.
