Zachary is an NYC native born and raised in the Bronx. He has spent the past decade-plus in food media and the last five years as a restaurant critic for the Village Voice. As a writer, he's contributed to Time Out New York, Serious Eats, Eater, Food & Wine, and Frommer's guides. He also works as a cheesemonger.


Zachary has a Bachelor of Science degree in television, radio, and film from Syracuse University.
