Experience

Stefani has been a professional journalist for over 20 years and her assignments have taken her around the globe. She learned to make ricotta cheese in Sicily, Italy, went truffle hunting in Istria, Croatia, and helped with wine grape harvest in the Italian Alps. Stefani has met with winemakers in Bordeaux, France, Madrid Spain's wine country, Mendoza, Argentina, Matera, Italy, and beyond. Her articles have appeared in The New York Times, HuffPost, Conde Nast Traveler, NY Post, Wine Enthusiast, Prevention, Marie Claire, Outside, and Runner's World. Stefani has reported for NPR and was an "On-air Storyteller" for the Travel Channel. Her book "Wanderlust Wining" is a fun, delicious exploration of outdoor activities, wineries, and culinary delights across USA wine regions. When Stefani is not writing, she is a wine consultant, specializing in creating entertaining and educational wine events and wine dinners -- always, strategically pairing wines with cheeses, hors d'oeuvres, and the chef's culinary creations.

Education

Stefani has a Masters of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Bachelor of Science degree in Communications.
