Experience
Kathryn has been a professional writer/editor for more than 16 years. She started her career as a newsroom editor for a prominent daily newspaper in California and hasn't slowed down. Kathryn was also the senior writer at two advertising agencies and a marketing supervisor at a small start-up manufacturer of computer components for children and people with disabilities. In 2024, she joined Static Media as a contributor to Chowhound, putting her lifelong obsession with everything food-related—vitamins and minerals, diet, nutritional factors, taste, and the techniques and tools needed in the kitchen — as well as the consumption of food, to good use.
Education
Kathryn has a bachelor's degree in journalism from Arizona State University and a master's degree in journalism from the University of Strathclyde - FutureLearn.
