• A lifelong foodie with a serious sweet tooth, Karin has explored food cultures across Europe and beyond through travel, journalism, and her work with food creators on platforms such as TikTok and YouTube. She is especially drawn to the way food can connect different places and cultures, from Romanian family cooking to French meals, Dutch specialties, and everything in between.

Karin is a journalist, writer, and entertainment marketing and content strategy leader with more than 20 years of experience across media and storytelling. She has written and edited for publications and brands including Cheezburger, Geek Universe, and WatchMojo, covering pop culture, entertainment, food, food trends, and broader cultural topics. She has also worked with creators and content across platforms such as TikTok and YouTube, including food creators, giving her firsthand insight into how audiences discover and engage with food and culture online. Now based in Amsterdam, she brings a broad European perspective to her work and a lifelong interest in the people, places, and traditions behind the things they watch, share, cook, and eat.
