Experience
Taylor began her journalism career at Franklin College, where she reported on Indiana politics and legislative sessions for The Statehouse File during the 2020 and 2021 sessions. After college, Taylor wrote for Current Publishing, covering the Hamilton County community. She later worked as a news producer at WISH-TV in Indianapolis, where she helped produce daily broadcasts and food-focused stories and coordinated interviews—including a segment with world-renowned hot dog enthusiast Joey Chestnut. She joined Static Media in 2025 as a writer for Islands, covering food, travel, and culture. She has since transitioned into editing for Chowhound. Taylor has a passion for storytelling, along with a strong interest in baking and food trends.

Taylor received a bachelor's degree from Franklin College, majoring in multimedia journalism and creative writing.
