Ingredients (4)

  • 1 1/2 ounces añejo tequila
  • 1 ounce Tamarind-Chile Syrup
  • Ice
  • 1 lime wedge

Sometimes a shot of tequila needs more than a lime wedge and some salt to spiff it up; mix in a little spicy syrup when you want an extra kick.

Instructions

Place tequila and syrup in a cocktail shaker, fill halfway with ice, and shake until well chilled, about 10 seconds. Pour into a rocks glass, squeeze lime wedge over top, and serve.
