1In a food processor fitted with the blade attachment, add all of the measured ingredients plus black pepper to taste. Process until smooth, about 2 minutes.
2Scrape down the sides of the bowl. If the hummus seems too thick, add up to 2 tablespoons of additional water. Process again and taste for seasoning. Add more salt and pepper if necessary. Transfer to a bowl and serve with pita triangles, baguette toasts, or vegetable crudités.
