Roy Rogers

The flesh-and-blood Roy Rogers led an all-American life as a popular cowboy and country music singer. With his trusty palomino, Trigger, by his side, he conquered movies, television, and even was immortalized in a namesake fast-food chain. Today, young lads everywhere raise a grenadine-flavored cola in reverence to the King of Cowboys. Cheers to you, Roy!

Game plan: You can use store-bought ingredients here, but you’ll get much tastier results with homemade maraschino cherries and grenadine.

This recipe was featured as part of our Nonalcoholic Cocktails photo gallery.

Instructions

  1. 1Fill a 12-ounce highball glass with ice and add the cola and grenadine. Stir gently with a cocktail spoon or straw to combine.
  2. 2Garnish with the maraschino cherries and serve.
