Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Looking for the perfect cheese snack for the next dinner party? Try our baked macaroni and cheese with John Wm. Macy’s melting parmesan CheeseSticks for a quick and easy appetizer. To give this simple side dish a unique flavor and texture, we have added our famous melting parmesan CheeseSticks. Placed in small bowls, people will be impressed with your ability to transform a classic side dish into an elegant baked cheese snack.

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. 2Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. Slowly drop in the macaroni noodles and cook for 5 to 7 minutes. Remember to occasionally stir the noodles to avoid sticking.
  3. 3In a separate pan melt 2 tbs. butter. Once the butter has melted add ¼ cup flower and mix together. Then add the milk and cheddar cheese. Stir until smooth
  4. 4Once the noodles have been cooked and drained, add in the cheese mixture. This is a great time to add salt and pepper and season it to your liking.
  5. 5In a small sealed bag, crush 2 cups of John Wm. Macy’s Melting Parmesan Cheesesticks and set aside. You can find it here http://www.cheesesticks.com/b-Melting-Parmesan-CheeseSticks-P135.aspx
  6. 6Pour the macaroni and cheese mixture into a baking dish. Add the crushed parmesan CheeseSticks to the top of the dish.
  7. 7Place in the oven and bake for 15 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
