My companion and I will be in New York for 11 days in a few weeks. A friend will join us for the last 7 days. Generally we have breakfast with coffee and some pastry, theh either a good lunch and drinks at night with bar food or street food or vice-versa with a good supper.
We will arrive early in the morning at LES and we'll probably not getting to the hotel room until 4 pm. We are considering having breakfast at Clinton Street Baking Company because we love the pancakes with maple butter. Lunch at Momofuku Ssam bar for the duck dishes. At night, considering either PDT or Death%Company and eating there, we love them.
Day 2: Amy's Bread or SSS for coffee and cupcake or carrot cake, lunch at John Dory Oyster Bar (we'll be nearby and we've never been there), at night either PDT or D&Company (the one we didn't go the previous night).
Day 3: it will be saturday, not sure about brunch as dinner will be at Le Bernardin
Day 4: brunch at the Spotted Pig, at night Mayahuel or Raines Law Room
Day 5: bagel and lox at Russ and Daughters, our friend arrives mid afternoon and he wants to go to the Breslin (all of us love the lamb burger and the seafood sausage).
Day 6: maybe Eataly in the morning or a lobster roll at Luke's and dinner at EMP.
Day 7: nothing planned
Day 8: dinner at Empellon Cocina, maybe a pre-cocktail at Amor y Amargo (my companion loves negronis)
Day 9: my friend also loves Momofuku Ssam, so we'll be back which is no problem at all, probably going at night, after drink at Booker and Dax maybe.
Day 10: nothing planned
Day 11: my friend loves the seafood platter at Balthazar, still haven't made the reservation.
I would like to try the Dutch, Saxon and Parole and maybe Junoon. In previous visits we've been to Jean-Georges, Locanda Verde, Babbo, Scarpetta, Minetta Tavern, Kin Shop, so wouldn't want to come back, although all pf them were very good.
I would like ti have your comments and suggestions. Thanks in advance!
