As promised, and as usual, late, here's the menu I had at Marco on New Year's Eve:
-Edive spear with gorgonzola, candied walnuts, roasted pear.
-Neopolitan macaroni soup, poached pheasant breast, fois gras, peeled grapes, double consume
-Zucca soup with crumbled gorgonzola
-Buccatini with razor clams, pinenuts, currants, and walnuts
-Baked sole origanato, fregolata Veneziana (Venetian almond cake; savory)
-Misto de mare: roasted lobster, grilled scampi, fried crab, spicy cucumber salad
-Bistecca Fiorentina, pepperonata, roasted potatoes
-Cotechino con lenticchie, pickled ramps, lentil fritters
-Zabaglione con panna
-Torta della befana
Needless to say, I'm still stuffed. But still eating.
