Winooski Reviews

I had the pleasure of dining in The Onion City last night and again today. Here is a recap.

Last night I took my dauhters (14 and 3) to Papa Frank's. We a round of soft drinks, a small pizza, linguine with meat sauce, child's pasta and meatballs, and a meat lasagna to go (for Mom). With the addition of a huge chocolate chip cookie, the tip was around $28.00. Hats off to this restaurant for making decent food at very affordable prices with friendly service.

Today for lunch I stopped just around the corner at Tiny Thai. I have never been to this location (just the one in Essex) and I liked this one better. They have a lunch special for $7.95 that includes a drink, appetizer, light side salad, and entree. This is a great value as the food is well prepared, fresh, tasty, and quick. I liked all the items I had: A housemade ginger infused iced tea, a Gyoza (kind of like a Dim Sum dumpling) and teh Ginger Stir Fried Chicken with rice. It would be tough to beat this value.

If you are in Winooski and looking for an inexpensive lunch/dinner, here are two great choices.
