wine and food matching in Evanston

OK, so I keep posting about this, but it's now totally changed focus :)

We're going to go meet up at my house in Evanston (e-mail me with your RSVP and I'll e-mail you details on where I live, close to public transport and easy to get to via car too) and everyone will bring a dish. My husband and I will do research on wine and food pairings, pick wines (everyone who drinks will chip in, we expect it to be in the $20-$30 range per person for wine) and everyone who RSVPs will be assigned a wine and a description of that wine which will include suggested food pairings. You do NOT have to make exactly what is recommended :) you do have to *try* to make something that will go with that wine.

We'll try to get a friend who is a wine expert to stop by and talk about the wines we pick (he owns a wine store, but it won't be a sales pitch, I promise!)

So e-mail me above, and let me know that you are coming.
