I went to Ye Olde Napa Valley Grille and got the red pepper soup and the salmon. The soup tasted like nothing. Maybe it had once been in the same room as a red pepper, but that's it. Then the entree: an undersized, underflavored piece of salmon on a strange-tasting bed of undercooked peas and overcooked bacon. The place is the Disneyland version of Napa Valley -- too much concept, not enough cuisine.
