Wegmans visit

GregJ | Mar 7, 2004 03:23 PM

We paid our first visit to Wegmans this afternoon. I can't really add anything that hasn't already been posted by others, except to say how envious we are of those who live close enough to go there on a weekly (or daily!) basis. We picked up some very nice looking clams for dinner tonight and some good looking Italian sausage made by an outfit in Ashburn, VA, called "Texican" for later in the week (and a bunch of other impulse buys). All I can say is that I'm so glad we ate lunch before entering this store! (It's 27 miles from my house in NW DC to Wegmans. But because my Mom will be living full time before too long at a retirement facility in Potomac Falls, I will definitely be shopping there at least once a month (with side trips to Costco, for the wine, if nothing else).) BTW, though I thought the place was pretty crowded, the person checking us out said Saturday was far worse.
