Let’s use this thread to share concise weekly dinner menus for each week in March. It's helpful if you can include your location and how many people you are feeding. Links to recipes are always appreciated, and sources help.
If your New Year's resolution was to more often plan meals, how have the past 8 weeks been for you? Is your new habit formed, forming, or still a struggle?
Do you enjoy designated food-themed days? March 14 (3.14) is special for households like ours with an engineer in residence. Pi Day is celebrated with any kind of round food (pie, quiche, pizza, English muffin…). Quickly followed March 17 by Saint Patrick’s Day when all food Irish makes an appearance. And Waffle Day a week later March 25. First Day of Spring March 20 is very likely to still see wintery weather here in MN, but the steadily increasing minutes of daylight are worth celebrating. Basketball fans in USA have college playoff games “March Madness” to cook for (or schedule meals around) starting mid-month and ending in early April. And those who observe Passover will be preparing special meals the week of March 27.
We all know plans can change, so it’s fine (practically expected) when your week gets rearranged from your posted plan. You may choose to report actuals for the prior week to share ideas with others.
The February discussion is still available for reporting the last week and follow-ups.
