My week-long business trip has come to an end and I'm flying home this morning. Stayed at the Park South Hotel at 28th and Park which is a real gem.
Piccolo. Terrific neighborhood Italian.
Grand Sichuan New York. Chinatown atmosphere on the East side.
Ethos. Greek with dyamite fish.
Union Square Cafe. Ten years of eating here and never been disappointed.
City Crab. Fresh oysters but a paint-by-numbers kitchen. Don't throw them a curve by asking for something different.
Black Duck. A late meal here did not disappoint. In the hotel but a neighborhood feel.
Stage Deli. Only had the chicken soup with kreplach and it was good.
Noodles on 28. Bustling and competent.
Looks like I'm getting out of town just before the "storm of the century" hits. At least that's what the TV News dolts are screaming about. Anyway, thanks again New York for a great time and great food.
