Had lunch there today.
Hamachi sashimi on a bed of cherry tomatoes and cilantro relish. The hamachi was delicious and the cherry tomatoes added a nice early spring touch, although it was a bit on the sweet side (almost tasted like compote ...)
Maine Rock Crab cake was meaty and robust, but the creme fraiche lacked punch -- almost seemed gratuitous.
(Sadly no foie gras was offered today)
Big-Eye Tuna (rare, sashimi grade) was mouth-watering and came paired with nicely mixed couscous and ginger/wasabi side (this was better, IMO, than the original version of this dish that had the stuffed ravioli with shiitake mushroom)
Seabass (with a miso dressing) was tender and very moist; it was paired with a butternut squash (if I am remebering correctly) which was quite interesting.
Shared a creme brulee cheesecake.
Noticed that almost all desserts were paired with ice cream, except the cheesecake.
No sherbert selections anymore.
OTHER ITEMS OF NOTE
Service was impeccable as always.
For some reason, the raw bar was not available when we were there today ...
