A warning about Cafe Deluxe

My husband and I dined at Cafe Deluxe in downtown Bethesda today and, while my Mussels in a White Wine Sauce was quite tasty (along with nice, crusty bread to soak up the leftover sauce), my husband and I both ordered the fries and there's the rub. The fries tasted no better than McDonalds's and they were too salty. When I complained about them, the waitress confessed she doesn't like the fries there either (why didn't she warn us beforehand?) and that they are frozen (aha!). Also, my husband's burger was way overcooked. It definitely looked like a pre-stamped frozen patty, not juicy at all and completely gray. Plus, the upper part of the bun was burned slightly. This was my first time at this restaurant for lunch but I would avoid those items at Cafe Deluxe.

Fellow 'hounds: Is there anything else there that's decent besides the Mussels and the bread?
