Five of us at minimum, will be in Manhattan the weekend after Christmas (Fri-Sun). There will be 3 adults, a 14 year old, and a 10 year old. My daughter (10) favors Italian, but will eat Asian and typical "American" food, and my nephew's favorites are burgers and pizza. Our hotel is in the Upper West Side, but we expect to be in midtown a lot- the kids have each been once before, and love Times Square. I would very much appreciate any recommendations. I'm conflicted about Carmine's- is it worth experiencing for the atmosphere, or would something else be better? We are also thinking of Heartland Brewery, and my daughter and I will split off from the others at some point to spend time at American Girl Place. We went to the Stardust Cafe on a previous visit, but it was a late breakfast, so no one was singing. Is it worth another try? I should add that they aren't great with long waits, which may influence our times or choices. Thanks very much for any suggestions for any meals!
