Veritas: Reservations in the "front" - too annoyingly smokey?

Sandra V | Jul 29, 2002 07:48 PM

I've made reservations for Veritas at 8:30 on a Friday night in the "front" of the restaurant. I understand this is near the bar where smoking is allowed. But, the reservation taker says it's generally not that bad.

Anyone eat in this area of the restaurant lately? Is the smoke going to put a damper on my anniversary dinner out? We're generally somewhat smoke tolerant but in a nearly smoke free restaurant in Seattle, it's hard to tell how much is too much.

My other choices for the night were, in order, Town, Ouest and Gramercy Tavern, provided we can get a reservation for the 9th.
