My mother's birthday is coming up and she's a vegetarian. Due to her diet she sort of eats the same thing all the time (some variation of salad). How she lives with this diet I don't know. It would be nice if I could take her to some place that makes really cool vegetarian dishes outside the norm of her boring salad retinue. It could be some place that does meat substitutes or just regular dishes but in a new way. I assume there are no "high dining" vegetarian restaurants. If not perhaps a really nice restaurant that just happens to do a couple good vegetarian dishes. This will be for a dinner. Anywhere in bay area is fine, even wine country is fine.
