Vegetarian Friendly in the East Bay

Justin L | Feb 10, 2010 04:32 PM

My mom and sister will be coming in from Arizona for a weekend in March. My mom and I eat meat with delight but my sis wants to "stay" vegetarian. Anyways we are looking for a nice dinner on a friday night. I haven't dined too much in the East bay and need to eat my way up there! I also want to take them to a place that is unique to the bay area, so a place that showcases local ingredients would be preferable.

Some places in mind

Gather- seems the most accommodating to both vegetarians and omnivores
Corso- looks like a good spot with some veggie options like the pizzas and pastas
Pizzaiolo- same as corso
Camino- I really want to eat here but the limited menu doesn't leave my sister with many options
Dopo- doesn't take reservations, next time
Rivoli- I can't pull up the menu for some reason, can someone comment?
A cote- love this place but doesn't have many vegetarian options.

open to other suggestions, I just need a reservation because I'll be getting off work late and know my family would like to be seated! Oh yea cocktails would definitely be nice.
