Variation on a theme: Steak at home - where's the beef?

All the discussion of steak houses below, and recent articles about the S&W opening have me thinking about steak. The thing is, my husband and I are relatively good cooks. And steak is one of the easier meals to do well. So I have a hard time justifying the cost of going out for it, unless someone's expense account is covering it.

But, the meat counter at my local market is a disaster. Where do you go to get a great filet? I'm looking for the sea-to-you of beef here. Preferably a butcher or market that is open on Saturdays.
