UWS-ish local food?

addiez | Nov 30, 201407:09 PM     6

Hi all,

I have a fairly short-notice request - I'm coming to NYC next weekend, and looking for a dinner spot for four on Saturday evening. We'll be coming from the Upper West Side and would like to be somewhere around there. The biggest thing for us is that we'd like to go to a place that sources primarily local meat. Price isn't that important (want to stay below ~$100/per person) so the primary concern is local meat in a fun/energetic atmosphere. Bonus points if the spot isn't too loud - one of our diners is a little hard of hearing. Plus, we'd want to make a reservation so anything too special probably won't be available, unfortunately.

I feel a little like Goldilocks here - I've done research of my own, but it's hard to gauge all these things at the same time, so any input would be greatly appreciated!
