URGENT: Vancouver / Richmond Dimsum recommendations for Cantonese-speaking Chinese

Hi all,

Flying in from San Francisco on Saturday and will be spending a week in Vancouver. I'd love to say that we're in for the scenery, but the truth is we are going for its Hong Kong-style food.

1) Please recommend your favorite dimsum restaurants, especially in Richmond area! All comments will be appreciated, and we don't mind dirty bathrooms or bad service. We would travel to the moon and back for authentic dimsum (but HK is not an option this time around), a little dirty toliet is NOT gonna stop us!

2) So far I have collected the names of these dimsum places, what are your comments?

* Sun Sui Hua in Richmond
* Kirin in Richmond
* Shiang's Garden
* Fisherman's Terrace

3) Feel free to thrown in other Chinese great-finds, like HK-style french toast, milk tea, pineapple bun, pearl tea and what not.

4) I heard about Japanese $1-shop in malls.. where can I find them? Any good?

Thanks in advance!
