I go camping for 10 days every year (at a festival), and part of the fun is cooking good food. Our group this year will be five adults. Some of the ideas we're thinking of include flank steak fajitas and stir fry curry tofu. Last year we did Indonesian satay with shrimp chips. We made lemon glazed pound cake. I have also made fresh tortillas to use in pork enchiladas. The guy who made the beignets isn't coming. We'll set up a kitchen area with tables, a wok burner and a butane stove. I'm handy with a dutch oven, and I'll probably bring a water smoker and a charcoal grill. Oh, and a blender.
Looking for ideas for something new -- entrées, sides, and/or appetizers. One of the real challenges is keeping things interesting towards the end because the coolers will have melted out, so it's tough to store fresh meat or delicate produce until then (though someone will be shopping near the middle of the trip.)
