I'm making my first T-Day dinner in awhile, and this time it's a 23 lb fresh Tom Turkey.
If I recall correctly the last time I made a Turkey it was considerably smaller, but I used a recipe calling for covering the bird in the oven with a clean white towel soaked in butter. This was to keep the breast from drying out. I don't what or where the recipe is, but sure worked, as it we truly the best Turkey I had ever had.
Any similar experiences or pointers to the method/recipe I am looking for???
