turkey stock reheating

i made turkey stock on tuesday and its been in the fridge since that evening. i needed to strain it and as its quite thick i had to reheat it...now i am wondering if that was a safe move?? is it ok to cool stock, reheat it and then freeze to be reheated later?? please help! thanks :)
