Troquet launches "Le Patissier", its downstairs dessert restaurant -- anyone been?

I missed this when csammy posted about it a few weeks ago:

When I walked past today, the menu looked rather Finale-esque, about 3/4 desserts and cheeses, with a small list of savories (lobster tacos, the now-ubiquitous Cubano...).

I've always liked the Finale concept, but their execution is poor enough that I've actually found myself getting angry when I've gone; the idea of a not-crappy take on the same concept is really appealing to me.

Does anyone have any firsthand experience or additional info?
