I got these and followed the instructions to dump boiling water on them to plump them up the fast way. i think i left them in there for too long (i forgot about them for like an hour) because when i used it, it was soggy like canned tomato and tasteless. i want that pungent sun-dried tomato taste.
should i marinate them in oil? do you have suggestions like marinate with garlic or in garlic olive oil or something along those lines?
also, what's your favorite use for these?
