Hi NY chowhounds! I'm going to be traveling to your fair city for several weeks in a row and need some chowish guidance. I'll be in lower Manhattan: working on Wall St., staying in Battery Park (at the Marriott). I loooove good food and am open to just about any experience -- from high end to greasy spoon. Mediterranean, French, Thai, Malaysian, Chinese, Mexican, Middle Eastern... any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I'll be carless and probably cabbing it.
Oh, and any thoughts about where I can find the best soup dumplings ("xiao long bao")?
