TJ's Letdown

Sorry to inform all that I had a rare, bad experience w/a Trader Joe's item. I've tried several of their frozen meals in plastic bowls, such as lemongrass chicken and a teriyaki chicken, which were pretty good.
Yesterday, however, I had the misfortune of trying their "Vegan Pad Thai with Tofu," and man, was it awful.

The noodles were way too soft, but I find that to be a common problem w/these frozen and microwaved dishes. The main problem was the taste: an acrid, almost petroleum-like flavor (not that I've eaten petroleum!) that permeated the whole dish. YECCCH! BLAH! PTOOEY!

Anyone else had the "pleasure" of trying this clunker? And, I'd like to know, any other clunkers that we should all know about? TJ's nails it on soooo many things (cereals, dried fruits, preserves, olives, oils, hummus, frozen spanikopita, frozen French onion soup, etc.), that I suppose I shouldn't be shocked that they missed the boat on SOMETHING. But I was disappointed, and I thought you should know. And- BTW - what the hell was that stuff in there that made it taste so bad?!
