Tindora what is it and...

how should I prepare it. I bought about a half a pound at my produce market because they are so pretty but I have no idea what they are or how to cook them. They are green and remind me of a very tiny watermelon. The inside has seeds and looks like zucchini or gourd. I'm guessing based solely on the name that they are used in Indian cooking which I love but have never prepared at home.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
