Thai House in Milpitas- Thai Buffet and more

Han Lukito | Apr 7, 200407:32 PM

That is correct, it is a buffet with Thai dishes only. We also ordered from the menu

Catfish salad was boneless chunk of catfish, thin slices of apple?, carrots, etc marinated in a slightly sweet dressing. Quite interesting.

Beef salad was slices of grilled beef on a bed of lettuce mixed with basil and some other greens. The marinade is probably similar to the catfish salad. The beef was not particularly tasty IMO.

Some of the dishes:
-Pad thai but no meat. Good spice with the normal reddish colour, thin slices of wilted tofu , not bad.
-Calamari and veggies in red curry sauce. ok
-Beef red curry. decent
-Thin rice sticks sauteed with bits of meat. Good
-Chicken in coconut broth, too bland for me
-Other things were not that great: sweet sour pork, bbq chicken, fried chicken.

Thai iced coffee is barely passable. Different taste from the Vietnamese coffee.

Orange juice here is freshly squeezed as I saw the waitress squeezing 3 oranges.

The buffet is about $8 per person

It is locted in 237 Calaveras Blvd and Albert St.
