Temptasian and Lake Windless

Jamie D and I met at Temptasian last friday for lunch. It was the first time I had been to that shopping center since the last night before the Hee Been remodeling. That place has really come alive!

We got the beef with cilantro, baby wontons in chili oil, ground fish and cilantro rolls, and pancakes to sop up some of the oil and flavors. We also split a plate of the roasted fish which is a tremendously good dish (lots of peppers - so be warned there).

They still had Lake Windless on the menu and I rememberd much discourse in the past about this dish (though I only found some glancing reviews of it on the board). They don't serve it anymore unfortunately. Does anyone have any more of the story of why they don't serve it? Is it still served at the place in Chantilly? Is it worth the drive out there (for me, I'm in Reston, so it's not a bad drive but just wondering).
