one of you chowhounds mentioned tebaya in chelsea as good delivery option in the neighborhood.
i want to rave about them. they have some really interesting dishes and they are all very tasty.
i love the kushikatsu (friend chicken cutlet - but sized like a chicken finger) over rice.
or the katsu sandwich - chicken cutlet in a bun.
both dishes have this delicious sauce that comes with it that i can't get enough of. it's a little different than the usual donkatsu sauce u see in japanese restaurants, though similar.
i think the cutlets being breaded in panko really make the dish.
their soba salad is delicious as well and though their signature wings is not my favorite style of wings (i prefer the spicy buffalo kind) - the sweet soy marinaded wings are def worth a try.
delivery is the quickest i've seen, the staff exceptionally courteous - and the prices - my boyfriend and i had a filling meal last night for $17 total after tip.
i would highly recommend people give it a go if u haven't yet. their menu is on menupages.
