tea with balls at cassava--LONG

i don't usually post up messages talking about places i've been. (it's either a response to a question or i'm asking a question myself.) but i just had to write up something about this new place that my friend just introduced me to that serves bubble tea. apparently it's been open since august, but i had no idea! You walk by it and don't really think much of it but when you go inside, it's really nice.

Cassava on boylston (at the corner of boyston and mass ave) serves up boba (also known as bubble tea) which they cleverly labeled "tea with balls." So far i've had the almond milk tea and green apple green tea. both were excellent and the tapioca at the bottom were sweet and chewy.

Being from LA, i haven't found any particularly good bubble tea places but i'd say that cassava is definitely one of the best in town. they also serve up panini sandwiches. nothing too fancy but definitely delicious.

the interior is really cozy and cool. i only noticed the back lounge area after my second visit. you have to go past the counter to see all these plush couches. you can sit there for hours. they also have an internet station to check email and wireless internet.

the staff is always really friendly and laidback. i like the music they play. a departure from the everday stuff you hear on the radio.

has anyone else been there??? if not, i highly suggest checking it out!
