I've tried the chocolates from TCHO (T is silent, pronounced "cho") & liked them ok. They now have a FREE Tour you can sign up for & go on. I did it online & had the tickets held at will-call. Tours are 10am & 2pm.
I remember reading you have to be there a 1/2 hr early, but you don't have to. We could have walked, but thinking we'd be late took the F-Line & wasted $2pp. Oh well. Just show up at 10am & you'll be fine. It's a 1hr tour.
They didn't check photo ID either, just had to sign in. If you happen to walk in you might be able to go on the tour if it's not full.
Gotta watch a video & hear a talk. Then wear a hairnet. Guys with mustache & beard must wear another one for that. No bags, jewelry, cameras, cell on the factory part of the tour. We went Sat 12/18/10 and the machines weren't running.
Got lots of samples of their chocolate (chocolate wafer nickel size: chocolatey; fruity, nutty; citrus. No earthy or floral yet.
Shop you can buy TCHO candy, coffee, hot chocolate, etc.
Separate bathrooms through double doors - Single portable toilets that flush w/ sink.
