On Chowhounds' recommendations, I had to check this place out. I went last night around 11 (they're open until midnight). Compared to La Lupe, the service was indeed fast. I had an order of three tacos ($5) -- one chicken, one beef, and one pork. Results: very good. I liked the chicken the best -- it was very moist and tender. The tacos are simple, just spiced meat, onions, and cilantro inside two soft corn tortillas (for reinforcement, I assume -- to avoid the wet lap phenomenon). They are served with hot salsa verde and lime wedges. Wash those down with a Mexican Squirt, and you're good to go. I can't wait to try more of the menu.
